HOMEMADE HEALTHY EGGNOG
- 4 large Ayur Plus Eggs
- 4 Cups Of Milk
- 2 Tsp Of Sugar
- 2 Ayur Egg Yolks
- 1/2 Tsp Of Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Grated Nutmeg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Cup Of Whipped Cream
- Combine eggs, eggs yolks, sugar & salt in a pan, whisking until well-combined.
- Keep the whisking going and add the milk in a slow stream until completely incorporated.
- Place the pan on a low flame and stir the mixture contiunously until it thickens. About 45min – 60min should give you the right consistency.
- Strain mixture through a seive into a large bowl, to remove any accidental small cooked bits of egg.
- Add vanilla extract & nutmeg, stir well.
- Pour this mixture into a glass container & cover with a plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate this egg custard mixture for about 4 hours.
- When ready to serve, pour whipped cream into the cold custard mixture and stir until combined.
- Serve this delicious eggnog in chilled cups & garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
