Homemade Healthy Eggnog

HOMEMADE HEALTHY EGGNOG

Ingredients:

  • 4 large Ayur Plus Eggs
  • 4 Cups Of Milk
  • 2 Tsp Of Sugar
  • 2 Ayur Egg Yolks
  • 1/2 Tsp Of Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Grated Nutmeg
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup Of Whipped Cream

Method:

  1. Combine eggs, eggs yolks, sugar & salt in a pan, whisking until well-combined.
  2. Keep the whisking going and add the milk in a slow stream until completely incorporated.
  3. Place the pan on a low flame and stir the mixture contiunously until it thickens. About 45min – 60min should give you the right consistency.
  4. Strain mixture through a seive into a large bowl, to remove any accidental small cooked bits of egg.
  5. Add vanilla extract & nutmeg, stir well.
  6. Pour this mixture into a glass container & cover with a plastic wrap.
  7. Refrigerate this egg custard mixture for about 4 hours.
  8. When ready to serve, pour whipped cream into the cold custard mixture and stir until combined.
  9. Serve this delicious eggnog in chilled cups & garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
